About the MZ2 Z Blade/ Sigma Blade mixer

The MZ2 mixer presents an exciting new development for companies who wish to conduct laboratory and development trials in-house.  Its size is ideal for developing mixes where materials are precious, yet allows full dynamic incorporation and mixing. With its touch screen man machine interface, it is easy to data log and capture full mixing characteristics allowing unrivalled repeatability.

 

Applications & Capabilities

The MZ2 mixer is ideal for mixing, kneading and blending of materials for development such as chewing gum, sugar paste, rubber compounds, technical ceramics, metal powders (MIM), soaps and flavour development.

Its 2 litre mixing capacity is able to reliably deliver the mixing characteristics of a much larger machine which is beneficial for testing purposes when product and investments require scaling up. (Smaller and larger lab sizes are available within the lab range).

Easy Cleaning

This high quality stainless steel mixer benefits from very easy cleaning – it can be cleaned in just minutes - not hours.  The mixer can be used for repeat small batches and this ‘easy clean’ function means that changing a mix is a quick and simple process. It’s mixing chamber and blades can be easily removed by the operator within the laboratory allowing for thorough cleaning which helps to eliminate potentially damaging 'cross contamination' between batches.
