 Role Objective:

We are looking for a capable mechanical/production engineering biased individual who posesses exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, who wishes to develop in this technical/commercial environment. Induction training throughout the company will be provided, including our Test Laboratory. This is a hands-on role where your contribution will be noticed and celebrated for its achievement. It will offer you an excellent grounding for your future career.

 Key Responsibilities:

Based in the Sales Department with tasks set by Sales Director and Managing Director but managed on a daily basis by Sales Office Administrator, duties will include:

• Sales support activities for both New and Used machinery sales
• Assistance with Lab trials and production of test reports as required
• Marketing reports
• Customer liaison - making follow up calls and preparing quotations as required
• Attendance/assistance at Exhibition stands
• Technical sales assistance - preparing quotations, technical schematics etc
• Project management - as directed

This is not an exhaustive list and other duties may be included as necessary.

 Required attributes:

• Excellent communication skills with good telephone manner being particularly important
• Must be numerate, computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel, Access and Powerpoint
• Needs to have good attention to detail
• Experience of Autocad/Inventor would also be beneficial
